What we build
AI Rate Face is a facial-geometry toolkit, a set of face-shape guides and a Research & Camera Lab. Our 20 free tools work in your browser. They help adults explore visible proportions, compare photographs and find starting points for hairstyles and glasses.
The product is built around a practical question: how much of the result describes the visible geometry, and how much reflects the photograph?
Why explanations belong beside the score
A number without its method is difficult to interpret. We show the measurements, separate photo presentation from geometry and explain the assumptions behind each reference. A useful result can lead to a better-framed photo or a styling idea; it should not become a judgment of a person's worth.
How the free analysis works
The browser downloads a MediaPipe face-landmark model. Our geometry code then calculates ratios, angles and regional comparisons from the detected coordinates. The free path does not send your photo, coordinates or result to our analysis server. See the methodology and data-processing details.
The optional Personal Style Plan is a separate paid service with account storage and explicitly consented cloud processing. The free tools do not require it.
Who publishes this site
The site, product explanations and calculation experiments are published under the AI Rate Face name. Questions and corrections reach the site's maintainers at contact@airateface.com.
We do not present the publisher as a clinical service, accredited research institution or medical reviewer. We list external work on the sources page and explain where it provides background rather than validation.
How we create content and experiments
Tool explanations follow the actual calculations. Face-shape guides draw their reference values from the same profiles as the detector. Research tables are computed from published inputs, with downloadable code and data. AI assistance may be used in drafting and implementation; the site remains responsible for its content.
Our current research uses hand-authored coordinates and a simple camera model. It contains no participant dataset or clinical accuracy result. Synthetic portraits and illustrative examples are labelled. See our editorial policy for publication standards and corrections.
What the results cannot establish
We do not claim to determine objective beauty, diagnose a condition, recognize identity or infer personality. Shape matches are styling descriptions, and our reference ranges are not universal attractiveness standards. The service is for adults aged 18 or older using their own photo or one they have permission to use.
